Regional train RB 32/35 to Essen Zollverein Nord station

Tickets for the Ruhrtriennale 2025 are valid on the day of the event in the entire Rhein-Ruhr transport network (VRR) on all buses and local trains (2nd class) for the outward and return journey to and from the venue. The tickets are valid on the day of the visit until 3am the following day. You can not transfer your ticket.

Please use car park A2, 5 minutes' walk to PACT Zollverein.

There are three permanently installed bicycle racks next to the building. 

There are a total of six lockers with power connections for charging e-bikes (you must bring your own chargers) in Shaft XII near the railway boulevard. There are repair stations with air pumps, tyre levers and other tools in the immediate vicinity of the lockers.

The 7533 metropolradruhr station is located on site in car park A2.

From 5 September to 31 October, Deutsche Bahn long-distance trains between Essen and Dortmund and between Cologne/Düsseldorf and Dortmund will be diverted. No long-distance or regional trains will stop in Bochum during this period. The S1 runs every 15 minutes between Dortmund Central Station and Essen Central Station from Monday to Friday as scheduled. Replacement buses will run at weekends. Visitors to the Ruhrtriennale should expect longer journey times to and from the venue. Further information can be found in this overview.

On 13 September, the Zollverein World Heritage Run will take place on the grounds of the UNESCO World Heritage Site Zollverein. The streets Großwesterkamp, Im Welterbe and Arendahls Wiese will be temporarily closed to traffic due to the event. The parking situation will be tight on this day, as the parking spaces will also be used by participants and visitors to the event. We recommend travelling by public transport.
