Family programme
Club Origami, The Sticky Dance, WASCO!, GenZ Don’t Cry, Happy Sundays
No matter how old your children are: From 0 to 18-year-olds, the Junge Triennale has something for everyone. Experience the festival atmosphere together as a family, with exciting activities that are fun, moving and interactive.
For children under 6 years
Do you have children under the age of six? If so, our Little Ears, Tiny Feet series is perfect for you, because here you don't just watch but take part in it! At Club Origami, children start by folding paper into works of art, which are then used on stage. Why not create some paper fashion? In The Sticky Dance, things get sticky: the stage is covered in colourful adhesive tape, and you can play with it however you like. Just don't get stuck!
Primary school children
Do you have children of primary school age? Then take them to WASCO!, an action painting performance set to jazz music. Children perform on stage, creating a huge painting that would look great on your living room wall.
Happy Sundays are perfect for those who want to split up for a while (but still be together): while the adults enjoy a performance, the children explore the themes of the play through play and creativity in parallel workshops. This way, everyone experiences something unique — and there's plenty to talk about afterwards!
For teenagers
Are you a parent of teenagers? If so, they can put their headphones back on and immerse themselves in GenZ Don't Cry, where they will experience an impressive 3D soundscape created by young people from GenZ. They will hear and see a world based on the hopes and fears of young people.
So grab your family tickets and get into the festival spirit!
