Sunday is family time! And this is why, from the start of the new festival season, Sundays at the Ruhrtriennale will become family afternoons filled with exciting experiences based around the producitons of Pferd frisst Hut and The Faggots and Their Friends Between Revolutions. In our Happy Sundays parents and their children of primary school age can experience performances in parallel: while the adults see the afternoon performance, the children will take part in a professionally-run workshop. Here they will experience the themes of the work in a playful and age-appropriate way and explore them creatively. The whole family can therefore engage with the themes of the production at the same time and then exchange their experiences once the performance and workshop are over. These two events will be combined in a shared memory of a lively family Sunday.
