Happy Sundays invites families to enjoy Sundays together. Children aged between 6 and 11 can get creative during an afternoon performance: with guidance from theatre educators, they explore music, dance, and play. While the adults are at the theatre, a playful art space is created for the kids. Then everyone can share their impressions of their day out when they get home.
The first edition of Happy Sundays will take place on 30 August, alongside the premiere of Krzysztof Warlikowski’s play Europa. In the foyer of the Jahrhunderthalle Bochum, the participating children will create their own maps, embark on a playful journey through Europe and take their souvenirs home with them.
