Tickets and Discounts

The people mentioned above will receive a discount of 50% on all available tickets on presentation of relevant i.d. This cannot be combined with the early bird discount. Please have your proof of discount ready at the entrance.

Families receive discounted admission to productions for young audiences. A family ticket is valid for two to five people and consists of at least one adult and one child. The family ticket can be selected directly in the webshop. This discount cannot be combined with other discounts.

Come to Ruhrtriennale 2026 with your friends! With the Bring Your Friends promotion, you will receive up to three additional tickets with a 50% discount on each full-price ticket for selected performances.

The performance of Europa on 31 August 2026 is part of the RuhrBühnen*Spezial series. A new stage, a new theatre highlight every month – and a ticket price of just 15 €: That’s the RuhrBühnen*Spezial. The offer is backed by the RuhrBühnen network, an association of eleven theatres and two festivals from the Ruhr metropolis. This discount cannot be combined with other discounts.

Classes and school courses of 10 or more receive tickets for €5 per pupil and per accompanying person (max. two per class / course) for all performances. Subject to availability, tickets for school classes and courses can be reserved until after the Northrhine-Westphalia summer holidays (14 days before the performance at the latest). For direct booking without prior reservation, tickets must be booked at least seven working days before the performance. Schools reserve and order tickets at jungetriennale@ruhrtriennale.de.

Persons with a severe disability with ID B will receive two tickets together with their accompanying person at the full price of one ticket. Tickets can be booked via the ticket hotline at +49 (0) 221 280 210, or at the box office. Please have your proof ready at the event.

Accreditation for professionals available now via this form. After successful accreditation, tickets can be purchased at a 50% discount (subject to availability) – one ticket per production, directly in the Ruhrtriennale webshop.

To be accredited, you must be currently working in the arts and culture sector. Once your accreditation has been verified and confirmed, you will receive a voucher code to use when booking your ticket from 1 June 2026 onwards.
