Tickets for the Ruhrtriennale 2026 are valid on the day of the event in the entire Rhein-Ruhr transport network (VRR) on all buses and local trains (2nd class) for the outward and return journey to and from the venue. The tickets are valid on the day of the visit until 3 am the following day. You can not transfer your ticket.

Notices: The parking time is automatically recorded by means of licence plate recognition (barrier-free parking without a parking ticket). Licence plate recognition already when entering the forecourt of the car park (entrance: Wattenscheider Straße at Gahlensche Straße, follow the signs).

The multi-storey car park is open all day. A standard car park rate of €5 / 24 hours applies (cashless payment only).

The multi-storey car park has two parking spaces with charging stations for e-vehicles. Card payment only.

There are ten permanently installed bicycle racks on the forecourt of the Jahrhunderthalle Bochum and near the water tower.
