Mark your calendar now for the next Ruhrtriennale! The 2026 season will take place from 20 August to 20 September.

In 2026, you can look forward to an exciting programme full of inspiring productions, surprising new discoveries and impressive highlights. There will also be workshops and parties at the Wunderland festival centre – a place for encounters, exchange and creative inspiration. 

Ticket sales and programme release will start on 23 March 2026. We have already announced the first programme highlight today: Balkan Erotic Epic, the new large-scale work by Marina Abramović, the most influential performance artist of our time, can be experienced from 3 September in the Kraftzentrale at Landschaftspark Duisburg-Nord. Ticket sales for Balkan Erotic Epic start tomorrow, 9 December, at 10 am.
