An explorative journey to unearth the truth of Haft Tepe in south-western Iran, an archaeological site with an ancient history which has been buried under layers of agro-industrial invasion. The performance tries to countermap the site in the Ruhr to ask: how does the co-existence of human civilization and ecosystem affect each other.
UnEarth started at the main station in Essen or in Duisburg, where the map of Haft Tepe / Mülheim was available at the DB Infopoint. After the S-Bahn journey, eleven listening stations were distributed on a footpath between Mülheim main station and Mülheim-Styrum on an approx. 4 km long path. The individual listening stations were numbered and marked with a QR code with which you could call up the respective tracks. The descriptions from Haft Tepe overlaid the present situations in Mülheim.
Language of the routes: German and English
