Project location of #nofear takes shape

In Duisburg-Hochfeld, the Safe Space, a first project location of #nofear, is being developed in cooperation with various schools. Here, children and teenagers are working together to create a place where they can live out their creativity - according to their own ideas and rules. Whether a recording studio, a stage for concerts or performances, or everything at once - the decision about the furnishing and design of the Safe Space lies solely with the students. They receive support from the young people who have been with #nofear for a long time.

In their podcast, the Junge Triennale regularly reports on the current process, provides insights into life in Duisburg-Hochfeld and plans for 2020 and the next edition of the Ruhrtriennale. The young people also provide their followers with the latest information on Instagram and Facebook.

Starting next year, the Safe Space will also be open to the public and will continue to exist and be used as a long-term project beyond the 2020 season. Many things are possible: cultural exchange, workshops, artistic impulses, encounters between young and old. The only condition: no fear!
