About Polar Force
Evoking the beauty and infinite complexity of Antarctica, the immersive and multi-sensorial performance Polar Force is set inside a white inflatable performance space. Custom-built instruments made to manipulate pressurised ice, water and air are combined with pristine multi-channel field recordings of Antarctica. Polar Force makes us rethink our relationship with the natural world from the perspective of the coldest, windiest and driest continent on earth. Melbourne-based Speak Percussion is the leading percussion company in Australia.
Supported by Australia Council for the Arts and Creative Victoria.
